Can't see the fixtures?
Until there is an indication from the NDLTA committee that they will fullfill their obligation to pay the agreed cancellation fees for this site, the winter fixtures will be unavailable
The NDLTA committee are a strange crowd. Last year whilst I was having severe family and job issues, I was contacted by the committee because they wanted to get the winter league going. I helped after having to sort out my father’s funeral which meant that the fixtures were a couple of weeks late.
That was in September. The next contact I had was a letter saying that the website was no longer required after the current season (this was in spite of an agreement that the Committee would give me two season’s notice). The reason cited was that the committee wanted full control of the website.
This was in January I replied immediately that if the committee wanted the software I was willing to negotiate. To date I have received no reply.
The NDLTA now has a new unfinished site that lacks much of the functionality that NDLTA.CO.UK was specifically written to support.
Disappointing or what?
